About School 4 All
Leonard Cheshire Disability exists to change attitudes to disability and to support disabled people around the world. We have been supporting disabled people for almost 60 years and are active in over 50 countries.
We are the largest charity provider of support services to disabled people in the UK and currently operate over 200 services. In addition to the direct support we offer people, our campaigning efforts enable us to have a positive effect on the lives of many more disabled people.
Internationally, we work with local partners in over 50 countries; there are four core areas to our international work:
School 4 All is our fundraising campaign to raise money and support for our inclusive education projects in Africa and Asia.
- Inclusive education - promoting disabled children's right to a meaningful education and enabling them to go to school.
- Livelihood programmes - providing training and support to enable disabled people to learn the skills they need to become independent and economically empowered
- Health and Rehabilitation - to enable disabled people to access the medical support and treatment they need.
- Training and research - in post conflict and post disaster countries
